has assisted over 1000 such individuals in filing petitions to expunge their records. To date, Second Chance Staffing Services Inc. Over the past seven years, SCSS has provided consultations for young people aged 18 to 25 years at time of sentencing, who are interested in requesting expungement of their criminal records. The removal of this barrier offers people a path toward gaining self-respect, by restoring their ability to live without the stigma of being labeled a criminal. One means by which this goal can be achieved is through petitioning the sentencing court to expunge a person’s criminal record, once all of the conditions of the sentence have been met.
